St John Street/ Broadway Brick Project

St John Street/Broadway Brick project is transformed a dull facade at the junction of these two streets into a giant painted patchwork, created by community groups and individuals.
The mural was co-ordinated and facilitated by Brick Project in partnership with Bridgwater's Town Wardens. Together they gathered inspiration from local people and community groups before priming the wall surface with vibrant colours, with community painting starting mid July. A paid team of Assistant Artist Facilitators was recruited from the local community. The people of Bridgwater were encouraged to visit and create their own permanent piece of public art.
