Kensington House Brick Project

Kensington House is a home for people going through the final stages of recovery from drug and alcohol addiction run by St. Mungo’s. It is on a small residential street in St. George. We successfully Crowdfunded this project throughout early 2022, with support from Sanctuary. In July 2022 we allowed people to democratically take collective ownership of this space by inviting locals to create a piece of public art, building respect and solidarity between the residents of Kensington House and their neighbours on Kensington Road. In association with St Mungo's, the project ran From Monday 18th - Tuesday 26th July, literally everyone in the area was invited to participate, including groups from Air Balloon Primary School.
