Kingswood Mandala

We developed this activity as a way to increase the accessibility of our collaborative painting exercise by making it portable and therefore easier to share. Funded by Southern Brooks Community Partnerships, this Mandala contains 468 pieces, each one individually painted by the people of Kingswood. From February to May 2022 the Mandala was taken to a variety of public events as a drop-in activity, as well as schools and community spaces as a workshop. The Mandala was completed in May 2022 and the whole installation displaying all painted circles can be found at the Library of Things, BS15 4AA following our launch event on June 4th. See you there!
