Newtown Brick Project Mandala

We created a Mandala display piece made from 90 individual circular pieces hand painted by local children and adults in the run up to our Arts Council funded Newtown Brick Project in 2023. Creating a group Mandala is a unifying event in which people can express themselves individually within a cooperative structure. This project spread the word and recruited Community Ambassadors for the main project. The drop-in workshops were open to everyone and the final piece is permanently on display at Lawrence Hill Health Centre, where we ran the final session in August.
